Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, our soon coming King.
It is my joy and a great pleasure to welcome all of our members, friends and visitors to the Church of God of Prophecy’s National Convention Website.
Conventions are a time when local churches assemble corporately for; praise, worship, fellowship, giving, teaching, preaching, conducting business, and vision casting. This will be a historic convention for two reasons. Firstly, it is my first National Convention as the newly appointed Bishop for Eastern Canada. Secondly we will be housed in our own facility, the Montreal North Church of God of Prophecy. This location is designated as our Convention Center scheduled to take place August 4th-6th 2023.
Bishop Dr. Clayton Martin
General Presbyter – COGOP, Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean Isles
Bishop Clayton Martin is an International Presbyter who performs the duties of general oversight for the church worldwide and particular divisions or world regions of the church. General Presbyters working in context with the General Overseer serve in day to day matter with the General Overseer and help moderate the Assembly and other business sessions.
The Caribbean is a crescent-shaped group of islands more than 2,000 miles (3,200 km) long separating the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, to the west and south, from the Atlantic Ocean, to the east and north. From the peninsula of Florida on the mainland of the United States, the islands stretch 1,200 miles (1,900 km) southeastward, then 500 miles (800 km) south, then west along the north coast of Venezuela on the South American mainland.
Bishop Paul Holt

International Offices COGOP
Paul Holt currently serves as the Executive Director of Finance & Administration for the Church of God of Prophecy’s International Offices. At the International Offices, he also serves as a member of the Corporate Board, coordinates Stewardship Ministries, and chairs the Assembly Task Force and Global Missions Committee. For the Church of God of Prophecy in Tennessee, he has previously served as a member of the Marriage Enrichment Board, the State Finance & Stewardship Committee, the Ministerial Review Board, TCBL Instructor, Youth Camp Director, State Men’s Ministries Director, and Area Presbyter. Before transitioning to the International Offices, he served as a Lead Pastor for almost 20 years.
Bishop Holt has bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Ministry, a master’s in Theology and a master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
Bishop Holt’s hometown is Kingsport, Tennessee. He and his wife Barbara (Lyons) Holt of Brunswick, Georgia currently reside in Cleveland, Tennessee. They recently published their first book, The Goldfish Principle. Paul and Barbara have two sons and seven grandchildren.
Pastor Joseph Jr Clorméus
Senior Pastor | Convention Speaker
Pastor Joseph Jr Clormeus studied law at the bachelor's level and theology at the master's level. He also holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in computerized management, and a master's degree in public administration, option analysis and management of public policies. He is on the verge of completing a PhD in public administration with the option of analysis and management of public policies. He teaches at the University as a lecturer and is the president of the Institute of Intercultural Theology of Montreal linked to Laval University. He has also done academic research and publish articles in specialized journals.
He is the senior pastor at Montreal North-West Church of God of Prophecy.
